1. Summary

cleanmyratings.com does not set cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking tools of any kind, and all its files and fonts are served from our own server. Because nothing is used for tracking, there is nothing to consent to.

2. What is stored in your browser

The website stores a few small values in your browser’s local storage or session storage. Unlike cookies, these are never sent to our server automatically, and they are not used to track you.

  • cmr-cookie-note (local storage): remembers that you closed the notice about cookies, so it is not shown again.
  • cmr_chat_t (local storage): a random chat ID, created only if you send a message in the live chat. It connects your messages to the right conversation so you can continue it later.
  • cmr_chat_seen and cmr_chat_asked (local storage): remember which chat replies you have already seen and whether the chat has already asked for your email address.
  • cmr_chat_open, cmr_chat_tease and the chat assistant’s state (session storage): remember whether the chat window is open during your visit. Session storage is cleared when you close the browser tab.

3. Client portal and staff tools

Our client portal and internal tools on separate addresses (admin.cleanmyratings.com and caller.cleanmyratings.com) use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. They are set only when you log in and are not used for anything else.

4. Third parties

No third-party content is loaded on this website. If you follow a link to a review platform or another website, that website’s own cookie policy applies.

5. How to control this

You can delete local storage and session storage at any time through your browser’s settings, usually in the same place where cookies and site data are managed. The website will continue to work; the cookie notice will simply appear again and a new chat will start if you use the chat.

6. Changes

If we ever introduce cookies or tracking, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
